On 14 October 2026, an informational webinar introducing the library’s electronic resources was held at the Faculty of Medicine of the Shymkent Campus of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

During the webinar, academic staff and students received detailed information about the university library’s electronic databases and ways to use them effectively in teaching, learning, and research. The participants were also shown how to access electronic resources, search for relevant scholarly information, and use full-text materials.

During the meeting, participants asked questions and received useful guidance on using electronic information sources. The webinar broadened the knowledge of students and academic staff about the library’s digital capabilities and encouraged the active use of electronic resources.

As part of the official visit, a special tour of the library of Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan University was also organised. During the visit, the participants became acquainted with the library’s activities, service areas, book collection, and modern facilities and resources available to readers.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange professional experience, learn about new initiatives aimed at improving library services, and strengthen cooperation between university libraries.
