AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AT OUR UNIVERSITY



Mariam Mukhtarova was awarded a Fulbright grant through the U.S. Department of State and the Institute of International Education (IIE) for her work supporting the development of English language skills among students, faculty members, and young people in Kazakhstan. Over the course of one year, she will teach students at the Department of Foreign Language Pedagogy, Faculty of Philology. She will also help students and faculty members improve their English speaking skills.
Mariam Mukhtarova was welcomed by Elmira Idrissova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector expressed her happiness to welcome Mariam Mukhtarova to the university. She wished her success in her work and expressed confidence that her activities would be highly beneficial to both students and faculty members.
As part of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program, Mariam Mukhtarova will conduct English-language conversation clubs, educational seminars, and sessions introducing students to the culture, history, and geography of the United States.
She will also exchange teaching experience with the university’s English language instructors and contribute to joint educational initiatives.
