Today, during a meeting of the Management Board, memoranda of cooperation were concluded with the Department of Emergency Situations of the Turkistan Region and the Shamshi Kaldayakov Regional Philharmonic.
The meeting was attended by members of the Management Board, including Rector Zhanar Temirbekova, Rector’s Representative Peyami Battal, Vice-Rectors and faculty deans.
The invited guests included Bagdat Chaizada, Head of the Department of Emergency Situations of the Turkistan Region and Colonel of Civil Protection; Darkhan Beiseuov, Head of the Planning and Operational Management Center and Lieutenant Colonel of Civil Protection; Yergali Sultangaliuly, Head of the Inquiry Division and Major of Civil Protection; Kuatbek Tortaev, Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs of the Shamshi Kaldayakov Regional Philharmonic; and senior specialists of the Philharmonic.
Speaking at the meeting, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova said: “Today, we are preparing to sign memoranda of cooperation with two important organizations. This partnership will provide valuable opportunities for our students. In particular, it will benefit students of the Faculty of Sports and the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design.”
During the meeting of the Management Board, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and Bagdat Chaizada, Head of the Department of Emergency Situations, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The principal purpose of the partnership is to exchange experience in the prevention and management of emergencies and to contribute jointly to the training of qualified professionals in this field.
The second important document was signed by Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and Kuatbek Tortayev, Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs of the Shamshi Kaldayakov Regional Philharmonic.
The purpose of this memorandum is to develop cultural and educational cooperation between the parties, promote national art and musical heritage, and increase the younger generation’s interest in Kazakh art. It is also intended to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of culture and education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed the further development of the areas agreed upon under the memoranda of cooperation. They also approved a Roadmap for the 2026–2027 academic year.
