A traditional celebratory event titled “Welcome, Students!” was held at our university for first-year students.
The event began with a video showcasing the exciting and eventful daily life of students.
Talented young performers took the stage, conveying the spirit of student life and youthful energy through beautiful musical performances. The “Bi-Sultan” dance ensemble presented the dances “Ägugai” and “Contemporary,” while Jasmine Nurgali, Yedilkhan Nurgazy, the Student Music and Vocal Ensemble, and Yulduz Bektemirova delighted the audience with their performances and created an uplifting atmosphere.
During the ceremony, Vice-Rector for Social, Cultural Affairs and Development Yedil Tolegenov congratulated the first-year students on the beginning of the new academic year:
“Dear students! The student years are one of the brightest and most important periods of your lives. During these years, you will not only gain quality education, but also develop your abilities, gain new experiences, and build strong friendships.
Thirty years ago, I also walked through the doors of this university and became a student just like you. Today, thanks to the knowledge I gained here, I am standing before you and addressing you. Tomorrow, it may be you standing here in my place.
Therefore, I encourage you to make the most of your student years, focus on your education, develop strong personal qualities, and strive toward your goals.”
