The Faculty of Education and Humanities Research held an orientation meeting for first-year students at the beginning of the new academic year. The meeting took place at the Lesbek Tashimov Hall. The main purpose of the meeting was to introduce newly admitted students to the structure of the Faculty, its administration and departments, as well as the organization of the educational process, and to provide them with the information necessary for a successful transition to university life. During the event, students were informed about the organization of the educational process at the University, their rights and responsibilities, internal regulations, academic requirements, and other important matters related to their studies. Information was also provided about the Faculty’s structure, the activities of its departments, and the academic and methodological support available to students. During the meeting, the newly appointed Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Sciences and Associate Professor Elmira Umirzakovna Zulpikharova, introduced herself to the students, wished them success in the new academic year, and encouraged them to pursue quality education and actively participate in university life.

The students were also introduced to the Faculty’s administrative team:

• Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs — Master’s degree holder, Lecturer Zakira Abuzhusipovna Bakirova;
• Deputy Dean for Research and Educational Affairs — Master’s degree holder, Lecturer Shynaz Almazuly;
• Deputy Dean for Research and Educational Affairs, Head of the Department of History — Candidate of Sciences, Senior Lecturer Assel Nurdullaevna Dzhumadullayeva;
• Head of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education — PhD, Senior Lecturer Malik Zhumanbekuly Sultanbek;
• Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology — PhD, Senior Lecturer Batyrkhan Nagashbekovich Auezov.

During the meeting, first-year students received detailed information about the Faculty’s departments, their educational areas, their role in the organization of the educational process, and the procedures for communicating with the departments. Students were also informed about the procedure for addressing the Dean’s Office, departments, and responsible academic staff regarding any issues arising during their studies. The importance of students’ active participation in the University’s social, academic, cultural, and educational activities was emphasized. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive appropriate answers from the Faculty administration. This contributed to their adaptation to the new educational environment and encouraged their active involvement in university life. The Faculty administration wished the students high academic achievements, creative success, scientific accomplishments, and active participation in the University’s social life in the new academic year.
